A picture posted on Twitter by French Bread battle planner Kamone Serizawa on Friday confirms from a stage presentation at Tokyo Game Show that Arc System Works will be releasing Blazblue: CentralFiction Special Edition for the Nintendo Switch. As of this time, Arc System Works in Japan have not yet confirmed more details about the title.

On Friday, the official Twitter account of Arc System Works America posted that “More info #BlazBlue Central Fiction will be coming your way in the future.”

It was previously announced in January last year that the Blazblue franchise will be expanding to the Nintendo Switch but did not specify the exact date of release or if it will be a new title or a port of one of their existing games.

Blazblue: CentralFiction was originally released in the Japanese arcades back in November 2015. It was then released for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation4 in October 2016. The game was then released in North America in November 2016 by Aksys Games.

One of the recent games Arc System Works released was Blazblue Cross Tag Battle for the Nintendo Switch, PC (May 31 in Japan and Asia, June 5 in North America) and the PlayStation4. The game was then released in Europe on June 22 by PQube. The game notable to have a crossover of the Blazblue characters as well as from other franchises like Persona 4 Area, RWBY, and Under Night In-Birth.
