As the “Baki” ONA enters into its second cour, a new visual has been posted on the official website of the series. In addition to this, two new cast/characters have also been revealed.
Featured in the visual is protagonist Baki Hanma and the main heroine Kozue Matsumoto engaged in a passionate hug while their background has the manga’s popular scenes are drawn in American comic style. As for the two new additions to the series they are Biscuit Oliva and Jack Hammer.
Biscuit Oliva, nicknamed “Mr. Unchained” is described as the strongest man in the USA and will be voiced by Houchu Ohtsuka. The 64-year-old voice actor is best known for having played a role in “Naruto” as the 3rd Hokage Jiraiya. The second character to be introduced, Jack Hammer, is known as Baki’s half-brother. He will be voiced by Kenta Miyake who is currently playing as the famous hero All Might in “My Hero Academia.”
The TV anime adaptation of the “Most Evil Death Row Convicts” arc of Keisuke Itagaki’s long-running action/martial arts manga series “Baki” made its debut in June 2018 and had 26-episodes. The ONA is directed by Toshiki Hirano who has worked as a character designer, key animator, and scriptwriter. On the note of writing, Tatsuhiko Urahata, who is currently working on “Hi-Score Girl” acted as the series composer.

They have gathered to face Baki, but not to defeat him, but rather taste defeat themselves. With their unmatched strength and skill have led them to grow bored of life itself, and they now seek out Baki in the hopes that he can overwhelm and utterly crush them.
