Anime Adaptation for ‘Madoka Magica’s Magia Record’ RPG Game Confirmed for 2019!

Madoka fans get hyped as the Madoka Magicasmartphone-game Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica is confirmed to have an anime adaptation in 2019. This was announced during the Magia Day 2018 event in celebrating the game’s first year anniversary. An official visual and promotional video was also released.

The tagline on the former is the same as the smartphone game: “A meeting between the girls weaves a new story”.

Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a spinoff to the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime. The story is set in the flourish city of Kamihama where magical girls gather in this town as they are guided by a strange power. In this town, they have to battle with a new power coming from witches.

The main protagonist of the game, Iroha Tamaki arrived in Kamihama hoping to find Ui, her younger sister. She becomes a magical girl with one wish to save Ui from illness. Madoka Kaname also arrives in the town hoping to find Homura who went missing.

Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica was released in Japan in August 2017 in both iOS and Android devices. The game also has a stage play (running for August until September) and manga adaptations.
