The “Ace Attorney” anime is set to have a second season and more details along with a new visual are revealed.
For the second season of the anime, it will be featuring the events of the “Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations” game. It will be making its debut on October 6 and the new visual revealed features Godot who will be voiced by Hiroaki Hirata who is majorly known for voicing Sanji in “One Piece”
The “Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations” game is a visual novel adventure work and is the third game in the Ace Attorney series, following the “Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney” and “Justice for All” games. It made its release to Game Boy Advance in Japan in 2004 before being ported to Nintendo DS.
The story comprises of five episodes and features defense attorneys Phoenix Wright and Mia Fey along with Phoenix’s assistant and Mia’s sister Maya, her cousin Pearl, and prosecutor Godot. On the note of Godot, whose real name is Diego Armando, is known as a coffee-loving prosecutor and Mia Fey’s former boyfriend.
The “Ace Attorney” anime, which was known as “Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu”, Igiari!” /“Turnabout Trial: I Object to That ‘Truth’!” in Japan, was released in April 2016. Based on the first three video games in the series, it was produced by A-1 Pictures and had Ayumu Watanabe, who worked on the “After the Rain” series as its director.
Atsuhiro Tomioka, a writer best known for working on the “One Piece” script among many others acted as the writer of the series with creator Shu Takumi having served as a script supervisor. The series had a total of 24 episodes before ending in September 2014.

“Ace Attorney” is a series of visual novel adventure video games developed by Capcom. The first game which was “Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney” was released in 2001 and was followed by five further main series games, as well as various spin-offs and high-definition remasters for newer game consoles. More than an anime, the game has been adapted into a live-action film which was followed by a manga series, drama CDs, musicals, and stage plays based on the anime.
