As the release of “Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory’s” final two episodes draws near, a new visual has been revealed by the anime’s website. Featured in the visual is a look at the ARX-8 Laevatein holding a giant weapon.
“Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory” is the fourth anime series to be adapted from the original “Full Metal Panic!” work. It’s listed with 12 episodes and the 11th and 12th episodes will be shown at a special program that will be aired on AT-X on July 18 at 7:00 p.m. The episodes will then be aired on Tokyo MX on July 20, on Sun TV on July 21, and on BS11 on July 23.
The anime series made its debut on April 13. It’s directed by Katsuichi Nakayama, who majorly worked as a key animator and episode director. And written by creator Shoji Gatoh. The story of the series is taking place after The Second Raid as Amalgam’s fight against Mithril heats up.

“Full Metal Panic” first began as a series of light novels written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Shiki Douji. The series had individual chapters published on Monthly Dragon Magazine, fthen had a paperback compilation released by Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. The manga adaptation of the series first appeared in August 2000. It was serialized in Monthly Comic Dragon by Retsu Tateo and ran until July 2005.
More than anime and manga, which also gained their own spinoffs, the series also a live-action film released for the series.
The main story of the series two characters named Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori. Sousuke is a member of the covert anti-terrorist private military organization known as Mithril. In the story, he has been tasked to protect the hot-headed Japanese high school girl that is Kaname. In the novels, the story has been split into stories focusing on Sousuke’s mission as a soldier of Mithril and comedic side stories centered on his life at Jindai High School.
