Smartphone Game ‘Sword Art Online: Code Register’ to End Service in Late August

It was revealed in the official website of the smartphone game Sword Art Online: Code Register that it will be ending its service on August 30. It will be halting all sales of the “resiston”, the in-game currency on July 30.

Sword Art Online: Code Register features the characters and worlds from “Sword Art Online”, “Gun Gale Online”, and “ALfheim Online”. It was launched by Bandai Namco Games in Japan on the Google Play store in November 2014 and the iOS in December 2014. So far since its launch, it had accumulated more than 10 million downloads.

Other mobile games were released in the franchise like Sword Art Online: Integral Factor, Sword Art Online: End World, Sword Art Online: Progress Link, and Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag.
