‘Fist of the North Star’ Game to Release in the West In October

Posted in: Anime News

It was announced on Monday by Sega of America that the Fist of the North Star PlayStation 4 game titled Hokuto ga Gotoku is slated to be released in the West (North America and Europe) on October 2 under the title First of the North Star: Lost Paradise. The game will have both Japanese and English audio. The game was first released in Japan on February 22.

The game takes place in the world of Fist of the North Star with a completely original story. Familiar characters of the franchise are in the character including new ones designed by original manga artist Testuo Hara. Takaya Kuroda will be playing the voice of Kenshiro in the Japanese game. He is also the voice of Kazuma Kiryu in the Yakuza games.

Sega of America confirmed that the Japanese Version of the game will have everything “plus extra carnage”.

For those who want to give the game a try, a playable demo is available during the E3 weekend at the Altus and Sega booth.

The game was created by Yakuza Studio, the same developers of the Yakuza game franchise.
