Microsoft’s E3 2018 Press Conference weekend was filled with surprises but one of the biggest news was the official release dates of Kingdom Hearts III which is on January 25 in Japan and January 29 in the West. Aside from the unveiling of the long-awaited release, a new trailer video was also revealed featuring the Frozen world. You can check out the trailers (in English and in Japanese) below:

Game director Testuya Nomura said that there will be another playable character besides Sora in the game. The game is possibly slated to be released for the Nintendo Switch in the future.

The official announcement of Kingdom Hearts III happened in 2013 and it was also mentioned way back that the game will be released for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. Square Enix said last year that the game is expected to be released “in the next three years”.

Confirmed worlds to be included in the game are Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and Tangled. The Olympus Coliseum world is also returning for this upcoming sequel.
