Coming on August 2, 2018, is the release of manga artist Namori’s yet-titled second art collection book. It will be released by Ichijinsha in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the artist’s yuri comedy series “Yuruyuri”.
The book will be priced at 4,298-yen (about 39 US dollars) according to Japanese online store listings. What’s more, it will be featuring Namori’s newly-drawn illustrations and will be like an art exhibition that readers can enjoy alongside the members of the Amusement Club.
“Yuruyuri” was first serialized in June 2008 in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime S magazine. In September 2010 however, the series was moved to Comic Yuri Hime. This was when the former reached the end of its publication. The series is currently running with around 16 volumes so far. In December 2011, the manga had over a million copies sold. Prior to this, another manga set in the same universe was released in July 2010. Titled “Reset!”, the series was serialized in Caramel Febri magazine’s first issue. Other than this, a spin-off work titled “hmuroke” was released on Niconico’s Niconico Sega service and takes focus on the Ohmuro sisters.
It was in July 2011 that the series gained an anime adaptation under the production of Dogakobo. The series ran for a total of 12 episodes before ending in September 2011. The staff who worked on the series included:

Set in the fictional Nanamori Middle School in Takaoka, Toyama, the story takes focus on the Amusement Club. Consisting of Akari Akaza, her childhood friends, Kyōko Toshinō and Yui Funami, and her classmate, Chinatsu Yoshikawa, this is the story of their daily lives along with the school’s Student Council which is made up of its own set of characters.
