SNK Announces a Neo Geo Mini System with 40 Games That Would Bring in a Wave of Nostalgia

SNK revealed on Wednesday that they will be released a new Neo Geo Mini system that will have a 3.5-inchi liquid crystal display and will come with 40 nostalgic games from the original Neo Geo system. It will have two controllers, a headphone jack, and an external display with HDMI. The game software and hardware development company will be releasing the line-up of games in a later date.

The system will be released in two different version. The “Japanese Version” is only exclusively for hte Asian market, while the “Overseas Version” will be for Europe, North America, South America, and other regions. The Japanese version of the Neo Geo Mini will have the original color schmes of the Japanese Neo Geo arcade cabinet.

A new game hardware was previously hinted by SNK as part of its 40 anniversary. SNK pushed in creating new hardware as a way of saying thanks to their fans who supported their following game series like Metal Slug, Samurai Showdown, Fatal Fury, and The King of Fighters, and Samurai Showdown.
