'Kingdom Hearts III' Slated for a December 31 Release

Posted in: Anime News

It seems that the long wait is finally over?

Kingdom Hearts III was listed for a while on the official Target website with a release date slated at November 1 for pre-orders. As of this time, the site no longer mentions the pre-order ship date but currently listing a new general release date at December 31. See screenshot from the website below:

The official announcement of Kingdom Hearts III happened in 2013. It was also mentioned way back that the game will be released for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. Square Enix said last year that the game is expected to be released “in the next three years”.

Confirmed worlds to be included in the game are Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and Tangled. The Olympus Coliseum world is also returning for this upcoming sequel.

Ani.ME will continue to monitor on the latest updates on Kingdom Hearts III as soon as we have them.
