It was revealed on Wednesday that the manga series Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru! (Our Maid is Way Too Annoying!) is green-lit for an anime adaptation. Its official website revealed that the anime will premiere in October.

The manga series was first launched in Manga Action magazine in August 2016. Its second compiled manga volume was released last October with a third one to release on Thursday.

The director and head writer of Gabriel DropOut and Himouto! Umaru-chan, Masahiko Ohta and Takashi Aoshima will be reprising their same production roles for this upcoming anime series at Doga Kobo. Jun Yamazaki is in charge of the character designs.

Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru centers on the little girl Misha who now lives with her after she lost her mother at young age. Her father hires a maid named Tsubame, who is actually a lolicon and a former Self-Defense Force official.
