New Teaser of ‘My Hero Academa’ Film Released, Features Younger All Might and New ‘I Island’ Setting

A new teaser trailer was released on Wednesday on the official website of My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Futari no Hero (My Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes). The film is slated to premiere in Japan on August 3.

The video gives us a sneak peak into the “I Island” setting and also a younger All Might! You can check out teaser trailer below:

The film takes place after the Final Exam Arc during the “Forest Training Training Arc” set on “I Island”, a floating manmade movable city. It will be revealing a certain character’s unrevealed past as well as featuring the characters of Class A.

Original manga creator Kohei Horikoshi will be chief supervisor of the film. He is also credited for the original story and character designs. The director of the anime at BONES Kenji Nagasaki will be also be directing the film along with some returning staff like composer Yuuki Hayashi, character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and scriptwriter Yousuke Kuroda. TOHO will be officially distributing the film.
