As the anime series “Magical Girl Ore” a.k.a. “Magical Girl Boy” makes its way to Japanese screens on April 2, two new cast/characters have been introduced along with a new visual, at AnimeJapan 2018 on Saturday.
Set to air on AT-X at 10:00 p.m. and on Tokyo MX the following day the series’ new visual was done by original creator Icchokusen Mōkon’s. While the anime is set for April 2 however, on March 25 there will be a special preview broadcast of the first and second episodes premieres on AT-X at 7:30 p.m.
For the new cast, they consist of Kishō Taniyama, the voice behind Jean Kirschtein in “Attack on Titan” as Magical Girl Eternal Dangerous Pretty.
And Tatsuhisa Suzuki, the voice of Makoto Tachibana from “Free Iwatobi Swim Club” voicing as Magical Girl Everything Crazy Beauty.
Prior to this, the cast for the series include the following with the main cast being:

Kaito Ishikawa as Saki’s Magical Girl Form
Sachika Misawa as Sakuyo Mikage
Wataru Hatano as Sakuyo Mikage’s Magical Girl form

Kazuya Ichijou as Kokoro-chan
Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Mohiro Mikage, a top idol adored by Saki
Koji Yusa as Hyōe, a member of the idol unit Star☆Prince with Mohiro
Showtaro Morikubo as Konami Yamo, Saki and Sakuyo’s manager
The story of the series tells of a high school girl and rookie idol named Saki Uno. She holds a crush over Mohiro, her best friend’s older brother and one day she witnesses him being kidnapped by demons. Without any hesitation she makes the decision to enter into a shady contract to be able to transform into a magical girl. Rather than being transformed into the expected cute girl however, she transforms into a handsome man in magical girl clothing.

As for the opening and ending themes of the series, the opening theme is titled
“NOISY LOVE POWER☆” and is to be performed by Ohashi. The ending theme on the other hand is titled “Garasu no Ginga” (Galaxy of Glass) and will be performed by the STAR ☆ PRINCE unit of the series, which is comprised of voice actors Toyonaga and Yusa.
“Magical Girl Boy” is originally a manga series that was released in 2012 within Fusion Product’s Comic Be magazine. As of 2014, the series has reached a total of two volumes and received a new serialization in Comic Be in June 2014.
