The Dragon Ball fever is still very much alive—especially in Latin America.
Last Saturday, one of the most highly anticipated fights of the Dragon Ball Super was aired. The specific episode is when Ultra Instinct Goku fight against Jiren. This fight marks the last few episodes of the anime before the show goes on hiatus on April 1.
Funimation organized a watch along party on its official YouTube while others also watched the highly-anticipated fight on Crunchyroll. The traffic was so massive that the site went down for a while.
Believe it or not, people in Machala, Ecuador treated the fight like a major sport event as thousands of Dragon Ball fans head outside to watch the government-hosted public livesteam event. Screenings were also in Ecudoria cities of Santiago and Veracruz, San Luis Potosi in Mexico, San Miguel and Juarez, Queretaro in El Salvador, and other Latin America cities.
Prior to the Saturday premiere, Toei Animation Inc. has been aware of these screenings and the local governments are not authorized to air them in public. You may check out their official statement on the matter below:

Armando Cabada, Mayor of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua said that the screenings would still push through because they were non-profit. Some screenings were cancelled after they could not get permission from Toei Animation.
