A new character is introduced for the upcoming “Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom” game as a Bandai Namco releases a new trailer and her name is Tani.

Previously, Roland was introduced for the game. He was described as Evan’s pragmatic and measured companion from another world and was noted as Evan’s mentor and figure of support. With Tani she is noted to be a blunt and headstrong young girl who in comparison to Roland, is more brash. Noted as the daughter of the Sky Pirates’ leader, the trailer presents her bringing Roland and Evan to their home,

Other than this it was shown that she had to be saved more than once by the duo and by the end of the journey, would become Evan’s soulmate.

The game is set to be released on March 23, 2018 and will be for available for either PlayStation 4 or PC. It is the sequel game to the “Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch” and was developed by Level-5 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. In it, players take on the role of Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, a young king who was usurped from his castle and sets out to reclaim his kingdom.

The story of the game sets itself in Ding Dong Dell over hundreds of years after “Wrath of the White Witch.” Featured in the game are two warring factions, the cat and mouse tribes as they try and take over the kingdom. Evan is a part of the mouse tribe and in his journey to reclaim the kingdom, he is joined by Roland, a visitor from another world, and Tani, the daughter of the boss of air pirates.

With gameplay, while players take on the role of Evan and can navigate throughout the game’s open world, they can also control other characters when in battle. A feature of the game when it comes to battle is that players use magical abilities and elemental creatures known as “Higgledies”, which are used to cast spells. These are “spirits of hearts” which exist in several forms and may represent elements. Outside of battle, players can use Higgledies to reach far areas, and to clear and explore dungeons.
