New ‘Kemono Friends’ Website Launches a Countdown

On Thursday, the official Twitter account of the Kemono Friends franchise announced that a new countdown website has been launched and will end on March 26 10:30pm Japan Standard Time. So far there is still no info released but only the website’s copyright listed it as “Kemono Friends Project G”.

The original Kemono Friends app developed by Nexon was first launched in early 2016 and stopped its service in December the same year. Its 12-episode anime series premiered in Japan from January to March 2017. The anime is also available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Several stage plays and also other smartphone games were also created under this popular franchise.

It was announced way back that a second season is in the works but TATSUKI, the first season’s anime direction will no longer be involved in the project.
