My Hero Academia Season 3 will premiere in just a couple of weeks! On the 15th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump released on Monday, four new characters have been announced to join in the League of Villains cast.
The characters are:
Daichi Endō as Twice, whose quirk is “Double”
Tsuguo Mogami as Mr. Compress, whose quirk is “Compress”
Ryō Iwasaki as Spinner, whose quirk is unknown
Satoru Inoue as Magne, whose quirk is “Magnetism”
Get your quirks ready as the third season will kick-off officially in Japan on April 7. Funimation has confirmed to be streaming the series for the west.
The announcement of the third season was confirmed during the “My Hero Academia: U.A. School [Heroes’ Cultural] Festival” event and will cover the forest school trip arc same as the manga.
The anime is based from the manga series of the same name created by Kohei Horikoshi. It was first published in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014 with 16 compiled volumes released so far.
Aside from the announcement of the new season, the franchise’s anime film titled My Hero Academia THE MOVIE will premiere this summer.
