It was announced on the official website of Young Magazine on Tuesday that the anime adaptation of the comedy manga series Back Street Girls will be premiere in July.
Created Jasmin Gyuh for Kondasha’s Weekly Young Magazine in March 2015, the series centers on three yakuza men who were forced by their boss, also a producer, to become part of an idol group. The biggest challenge for them now is hiding their true selves from their growing fans.
The manga series sold more than 450,000 copies in print with its 10th volume released on Tuesday.
