An official website has been opened the CyberConnect2 (CC2) company for its “Next plan” project with three vengeance-themed games are and in it are not only details for the project and a message from the studio.

In their message they relay their thanks to all fans who have followed their industry and as of this year the company will be celebrating their 23rd anniversary. They stated:

From the bottom of our hearts, we’d sincerely like to thank the players of our games from all around the world, our clients who have given us the task of creating quality games for so many years, as well as the creators and staff who have cooperated with us every step of the way.

It was after the studio’s 20th anniversary that president Hiroshi Matsuyama made the decision to create a new strategy in order to strengthen CyberConnect2 and create even more engrossing content in the years to come and thus came in “CyberConnect2’s publishing – New Original Project Strategy” set for the next ten years.

No longer will CC2 be just a developer any longer as it enters into the multimedia spectrum with two types of game development to serve as its foundation. So far there are three projects that have been detailed for the company.

There is the “C5” publishing project where three completely original projects have been announced with “C5” standing for “CyberConnect Creative Challenge Competition”. It is a scheme that aims to create projects that can be published in-house, and for the three announced projects, it will be taking on the concepts of “Small-scope/short-period development”; “Short playtime” and “Low-price”.

And thus, comes in the “Unique, Sharp, and Shocking New Projects Like No Other!! – Trilogy of Vengeance” which just had its three titles announced recently and are listed as:

Unique, Sharp, and Shocking New Projects Like No Other!! – Trilogy of Vengeance

Fugue of the Battlefield

Tokyo Ogre Gate

Cecile

Then there is “A5” original anime project with the abbreviation standing for “Astonishing,” “Ambitious,” Advanced,” “Amazing,” and “Animation.” Established in order to create brand new original anime projects based off of concepts and stories created within the company. Currently CC2 will be assisting TriF Studio in the production of their original anime “MECHA-UDE”.

Lastly there is the staff recruitment call titled “Calling All Game-Lovers! Mass Recruitment for New Start-up Projects!” wherein CC2 is seeking new team members in order to help in the development of the “Fuga,” “Tokyo Ogre Gate,” and “Cecile” projects. Details on this can be found under the “Employment” section of CyberConnect2’s official website.
