Previous and New Precure! Generations are Revealed for Precure Super Stars! Film's Trailer

The newest trailer for the upcoming “Precure Super Stars!” film has been released and is currently being streamed by Toei Animation. Featured in the trailer are “Hugtto! Precure” characters, along with a new character named Clover.

There is no confirmed cast for the character but it is confirmed that Clover will be playing a key part within the story. On the note of the story of the film, it will be featuring characters from “Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode” as well as “Maho Girls Precure!.” As for “Hugtto! Precure”, it is an upcoming anime for the “Precure Franchise.” The title for the new work which includes the English word “Hug”, holds the quotation particle “to,” which is used in casual speech when the speaker is resolving to do something.

The story for the upcoming series tells of Hana Nono, a second-year junior high girl who wants to be a cool big sister. One day she encounters “Hug-tan”, a mysterious baby who suddenly fell from the sky along with her hamster caregiver Hari. When Hana witnesses her being attacked by the evil Clias Company for her Mirai Crystal, a powerful artefact that has the power to create tomorrow, her desire to protect the baby creates a new Mirai Crystal and she transforms into Cure Yell.

Rie Hikisaka as Hana Nono /Cure Yell

Rina Hon’izumi as Saaya Yakushiji/Cure Ange

Yui Ogura as Homare Kagayaki/Cure Étoile

Junko Noda as Hariham Harii

Konomi Tada as Hug-tan

Directed by Akifumi Zako and Junichi Sato and written by Fumi Tsubota, the series will be release on February 4. As for the film, which is meant to be a celebration of the 15th anniversary of the “Precure” franchise, it will be making its debut in Japan on March 17.

Another feature to be found in the film is that Kazuki Kitmura will be making his debut as a voice actor in the film as Uosabakka, a villain for the film.

On a different note, the film is noted as a sequel work to the March 2017 “Precure” film “Eiga Precure Dream Stars!” Though it was not considered as an “All Stars” film, it did feature a crossover.
