Nintendo Switch Surpasses Lifetime Sales of the Wii U in Japan!

Posted in: Anime News

Just this week, a recent report revealed that the Nintendo Switch console has hit a new record as it surpasses the Wii U’s lifetime sales in Japan with more than 3,407,158 units sold. The Wii U console sold 3,301,555 units. Nintendo launched the Wii U console in 2012 and ended production in early 2017.

Nintendo announced last month that as of December 10, the Nintendo Switch sold more than 10 million units worldwide. During its first three days of release in Japan, over 330,657 units were instantly sold.

Nintendo’s Switch Online service was announced for a fall 2018 according to Nintendo’s Italian website. The listing was then reverted back to a later date on December 25, 2018.

With all the awesome current and upcoming games for it, it’s no surprise to why the Nintendo Switch is an ultimate must have!
