The Cardcaptor Sakura hype continues as a “Card Captor Sakura Special Shop” will be opening in 39 Kiddy Land Stores in Japan starting on January 8. This is also to mark the airing of the new Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card anime. Exclusive items and other merchandise will be available and they are ultimate must-haves for any fan of the series!
The first lucky 50 people who will buying items from the special shops in Osaka, Umeda and in Harajuku, Tokyo will receive Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card posters that will have the autograph of Sakura Tange, Sakura Kinomoto’s Japanese voice actress. There will also be a postcard campaign in which if you spend on items totaling 2,000 yen on merchandise will get one of three deluxe postcards for free! If you spend at least 6,000 yen, you can get all three of them!
If you’re heading to Japan on January 8 to 13, be sure to catch Kero-chan and Suppi as they will be walking around Umeda and in Harajuku twice a day. 20 lucky fans will have the opportunity to take pictures with them too!
Some of the exclusive items that will only be sold in the shop are popcorn bottle for 800 yen, square can badge for 450 yen, A4-size tote bags for 2000 yen, tin mirrors for 700 yen, and candy tins worth 800 yen.
Will all these items and the upcoming anime, these are proof that the Cardcaptor Sakura fever still continues even until this day.
