The 1st PV is Out With a Release Date and Cast for "Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori"

The anime adaptation of You Shimizu’s manga series, “Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori” was initially announced in October and now a PV, release details and a main cast has been announced for the work.

“Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori” is a “heartful story” manga that was first released in October 2013. It is a one-off series that is being serialized by Shinchosha’s bimonthly manga magazine Go Go Bunch. Currently the series has seven volumes available in Japan.

Set in a popular Japanese-style cafe named Rokuhoudou this is the story of four young male employees. In this tea house, customers are able to not only receive excellent food but also – if they wish for it – a helping hand in solving any problem that may be plaguing them. This is where the four come in, each one being consummate professionals in their individual fields: tea expert Sui, latte artist Gure, pâtissier Tsubaki and chef Tokitaka.

Starring as Sui/Kyousi Tougoku is Junichi Suwabe, the voice of Undertaker in “Black Butler” and currently playing as Seth Noel in “The Ancient Magus Bride.” Daisuke Ono, who plays as Jotaro Kujo in “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders” will be taking on the role of Gure/Gregorio Valentino.

Followed after is Daiki Yamashita as Tsubaki/Tsubaki Nakao, having played the role of Sakamichi Onoda in “Yowamushi Pedal.” Lastly, playing the role of Tokitaka/Tokitaka Naga is Yuichi Nakamura, who plays a role in “Fairy Tail” Gray Fullbuster.

Taking charge of the production as director and working as a member of Team Nico is Tomomi Kamiya, who prior to this majorly worked as a key animator and animation director. With him as series composer is Deko Akao, having worked on the shoujo series, “Anonymous Noise” and “First Love Monster.” Working on the character designs for the production is Kei Ajiki, who previously worked as a key animator for a variety of works including shounen series “Bleach” and supernatural series “Death Note.”

ZEXCS, a studio known to have produced the slice of life series, “D.C.: Da Capo” and fantasy series, “Renta Magica”, will be taking charge of the anime production.

The PV released features a 30-second look into the main cast as well as peek into the animation work and style as well. The anime will be will be making its debut in April 2018 in Japan.
