It’s December now and the “Monster Hunter: World’s” beta for PS4 release schedule has officially been released by Capcom. Along with the schedule, requirements, contents and features were also shared on the game.
One of the main featutes to be found in the beta are 3 quests across 2 environments from the game. A player has the choices of firstly, hunting fierce yet beginner-friendly Great Jagras in the Ancient Forest. Or, if they’re looking for more of a challenge, they can battle against the mighty threat that is an Anjanath.
If they do not appeal to either of these choices, the final choice is to face off against the intermediate level mud-slinging Barroth in the massive, dry expanse with swamplands of the Wildspire Waste. For those who wish to take any of these quests, they can do so either solo or join a team of three.
In terms of weaponry, a player will have 14 different types to choose from depending on their prefered playstyle and can be changed during quests in camp. A player can even test out their wraps before entering into a quest by making use of the the series’ all-new Training Room. On a different note, potions and other supplies will be provided on quests during the beta.
As a beta work, there is much more to be expected with the full game as the beta features a game currently in development and some aspects about balance may be different from the full game. Still, there is a reward piece that a player is able to enjoy with the beta. For each completed quest, a player will receive bonus items in the full game. That is if they use the same Sony Entertainment Network account for both the beta and the full game.
