Fans of the “Fullmetal Alchemist” can now get their questions answered by the director of the live-action film adaptation himself Fumihiko Sori.The 53-year-old has opening a Twitter account by the name of “Osiete! Sori Fumihiko Kantoku” a.k.a. “Please Answer! Director Fumihiko Sori” and has released both a message and instructions with it.
The account will be open until December 10 and the instructions to submit a question are as following. First a participant must follow the @hagarenmovie, followed after they post their question by making use of the hashtag #ハガレンのギモン.
As for the message which the director had posted, it states:
“Hello everyone, I am Fumihiko Sori who directed the film Fullmetal Alchemist. I am a Twitter beginner, but I will answer your questions as much as possible. I am looking forward to receiving your questions.”
The live action film is set to be released on December 1 by Warner Bros. Pictures in Japan. As stated Fumihiko Sori is acting as the director of the film. As for the writing of the film, that role belongs to Hiromu Arakawa with Fumihiko Sori and Takeshi Miyamoto to work on the screenplay. Taking charge as the producer of the film is Yumihiko Yoshihara.
The story for the film takes adaptation from the original series. Set in an alternate world during the 20th century, alchemy exists and is highly respected by many. Starring in this story are brothers Edward and Alphonse. When they were children, they had made a grave mistake when conducting forbidden technique of human transmutation. In result of this, Edward lost an arm and leg while Alphonse nearly lost his entire self if not for Edward saving his soul. Now they journey in search of the legendary philosopher’s stone, that will repair their bodies.
