The ladies of Aqours continue to rise in popularity and in their quest to reach all forms of media, enter into a game of mystery and logic. Taking place at the Awashima Marine is a mystery escape game to be hosted by the idol group titled Escape from the Solitary Island Aquarium.
Set for the following year, the event is a collaboration between Love Live! Sunshine!! and Japanese escape room company Real Escape Game. Currently it is being advertised through full-bus wrappings featuring the girls of Aqours in their mystery-solving gear. Featured in the event are a line of exclusive merchandise ranging from special chocolates to a bottled water.
For those who take part of the event will be asked to bring their smartphones and earbuds to the event. With the they will be able to hear the girls of Aqours as they guide them through their mystery tour via audio. Another feature of the event is the girls’ song “Kimi no Hitomi o Meguru Bouken” the B-side to the show’s second OP, as the event’s image song.
The event will be lasting from March 19 to June 3, 2018 and tickets are set 4,500 yen in advance and 7,000 yen in advance with special goods. For those who wish to buy the ticket in person, they can get them for 5,000 yen, however, there is also a chance that they will not be available if all sessions are fully booked in advance.
This not the first time that the company has collaborated with an anime as just recently they had collaborated with different anime series including “Detective Conan”, “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”, “Pokémon”, and many others.
“Aqours” is a school idol group of the “Love Live! Sunshine!!” Consisting of nine members they are from Uranohoshi Girls’ High School. “Love Live! Sunshine!!” on the other hand is a Japanese multimedia project co-developed by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki G’s Magazine, music label Lantis, and animation studio Sunrise.
Made as a spin-off of the original “Love Live!” franchise, the story of the work features a group of girls banding together to become an idol group in order to save their school from shutting down.
