The supernatural series, “Servamp” is officially making a return in 2018 and already plans have been confirmed for the work. Set to be released in the sprince it will be a film entitled “Alice In The Garden” and there will be returning cast and staff from the series.
There is the main cast including Takuma Terashima’s Mahiru Shirota, Yūki Kaji’s Kuro then there is Junko Yamanaka for the character designs. However, Ayumi Hiseao, who is known to worked on “Kill Me Baby” and “Danmachi” will be taking over Kenji Konuta’s role as writer.
“Servamp” is a supernatural series that began as a manga series by Strike Tanaka and serialized in Media Factory’s shōjo manga magazine Monthly Comic Gene since 2011. The series is still running and currently has 10 volumes released. The anime adaptation of the series came in on July 2016 and ran for 12 episodes before ending in September 2016.
Acting as chief director for the series was Itto Sara with Hideaki Nakano as the director. As stated, Kenji Konuta was the writer for the series and all worked with studio Brainbase and Platinum Vision for the production.
This is a story that tells of normal high schooler Mahiro Shirota who one day discovers a black cat on his way home. He decides to take the cat in and names him Kuro, but the truth is he is no ordinary cat. For when Mahiro wakes up the next day he discovers that Kuro is in fact Sleepy Ash, one of the seven vampires that represent the Seven Deadly Sins. Representing Sloth and turning into cat when exposed to sunlight, Kuro informs Mahiro that in giving him name and cat bell he had actually formed a contract with him.
Once Sleepy Ash drinks his blood, the contract is finalized and Mahiru becomes his vampire servant known as a “Servamp” and Sleepy Ash his master called “Eve.” In the aftermath of this however, a vampire appears before the two and claims himself as the Servamp of Melancholy and the unknown eighth brother of the other Servamps, Tsubaki. He has declared war against his seven brothers and now Mahiro and Kuro make a plan to group with the other bring the seven brothers together against Tsubaki.
