Top 5 Interesting Manga of the Week

Different seasons may bring in new and different anime to choose from, but there are even more to choose from in the manga community as well. From updated works to new and interesting stories to check out, the choices are about endless. Sure there are works that are just twists to what have been done before but for every few weeks there is always something new or interesting to check out and these are the top 5 to check out for the week

5. Misoshiru de Kanpai!

This a story of friendship and enjoying a good home cooked meal. Taking focus on a middle school boy by the name of Zenichirou. With his single father being too busy he often has onigiri and miso from the convenience store for breakfast. His childhood friend Yae however, does not accept this and thus makes it her mission to make a delicious and fulfilling breakfast from now on

4. Shirokuma Tensei

You’ve seen all kinds of male protagonists being reincarnated into different fantasy characters, whether it be a hero, villager or even a sword! Now how about a reincarnation story wherein the protagonist awakens as…a polar bear!? Here we have a 28-year-old man who ends up in this exact situation after dying from a mountain climbing accident. But he is no ordinary bear as he is not only able to talk but also holds great fighting skills.

3. Golem Hearts

In this world, there exists beings known as golems, beings of stone or other that are create by widely-respected figures known as “sorcery scholars.” They are who control the golems and in return receive complete obedience from the statue like beings. Noah is one such scholar who aims to reach high amongst his peers and travels the world to study every kind of golem there is. However, this young scholar’s story is not as it seems.

2. Senryu Girl

There all kinds of ways to communicate with people, but how about communicating in haikus? Yukishiro Nanako seems like a sweet and cute girl on the outside. However, she holds on very peculiar trait to her, she communicates through writing through a tune of 5-7-5 syllables. Along with her former delinquent friend Busujima Eiji, they spend their days creating different haikus as the freshman members of the school literature club. It is a tale of humor and a new way of communicating.

1. Enra in Hell

Do you believe in Heaven or Hell? In this supernatural/comedy piece, we have one Komachi Takamura as the heroin. With her parents being a lawyer and public prosecutor, it is no surprise that the sixteen-year-old girl would want to follow in their footsteps. To many, she was the “good girl”, always following everything by the book, and her future looked bright. Her peaceful high school life comes to a screeching halt however when a demo by the name of Enra appears before her and tells her she is listed for Hell?!
