It’s not a surprise, really.

Popular online streaming platform Netflix released a list on Tuesday of the Top 20 Most Watched Shows in full seasons within its first 24 hours of release. The anime series The Seven Deadly Sins topped at #4 just after live-action series like Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Fuller House, and Marvel’s The Defenders.

Netflix explained that a majority of their subscribers might be doing “binge racing”— which means watching an entire season as fast as possible. They have recorded 8.4 million of its members “binged raced” upon getting membership. From 2013 to 2016, the number of people finishing an entire season of a series has been increased 20 fold.

The first season of the The Seven Deadly Sins were released on Netflix in November 2015 which composed of 24 episodes. The Seven Deadly Sins – Signs of Holy War premiered in August 2017 in Japan which an international stream premiere by Netflix will happen in February. The anime’s second season is slated to premiere in Japan on January 6 with an anime film scheduled to be screened in theaters next summer.
