Gundam fans will get a double in the coming month of November as a simultaneous screening is announced with a reveal of new visuals and other announcements. Starting on November, there will be a simultaneous screening of “Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt BANDIT FLOWER” and “Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS Akashi Akashi”
Spanning for a limited time of two weeks before ending on December 1, the screening will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly and other 15 nationwide places. For those who make it early in the first week of screening from November 18 to November 24 will receive first-come-first-serve special memorial cards to commemorate the event.
Based on the manga series of the same name by Yasuo Ohtagaki which was serialized by Shogakukan, “Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt BANDIT FLOWER” is the second feature length film of the series. For the film it will be a compilation of the second season of the “Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt” ONA.
The main story is set during the One Year War of the “Mobile Suit Gundam World” and tells of battle between the Earth Federation’s Moore Brotherhood and the Principality of Zeon’s Living Dead Division located In U.C. 0079.
The battle takes place in the “Thunderbolt Sector”, a shoal zone littered with debris from destroyed space colonies and named as such from the frequent electrical discharges. This is the story Federation soldier Io Fleming as he battles Zeon’s best sniper, Daryl Lorenz.

“Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS” on the other hand, is based on the light novel series written by Kōjirō Nakamura and illustrated by ARK Performance. The story is set months after the events of “Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.” Playing as the heroes of this tale is Former Weapons Developer Arlette Almage and Former Test Pilot Danton Hyleg, two former Principality of Zeon Remnants.
Sent to investigate the remains of the asteroid base Axis by the Earth Federation Forces research team, it is there that they discover a Cyber Newtype, Quentin Fermo, who pilots the mysterious mobile suit, the RX-78AN-01 Gundam AN-01.
