More details are revealed for the newest features of the “Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet” game. Found in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine and relayed by Bandai Namco, the features included the character creation system, two new characters and the AI supporting characters.
“Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet” is a Japanese role-playing game (JRPG) based on the “Gun Gale Online” side of the “Sword Art Online” franchise. It will be released for release 2018 and is set for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Just recently, a report has been that plans for the game to be made into a third-person shooter are being made according to the game’s producer, Yosuke Futami.
The story of the game sets the player as a hero of the Gun Gale Online with its versatile landscapes and environments and a wide option of weapons and fighting styles to choose from. Other features of the game include being able to interact with the characters of the franchise and the ability to customize skills and abilities.
With the newly revealed features, players now have a chance to see themselves in the game with the new avatar customization. Not only can players change the hair and eyes of their avatars but they can also manipulate from the neck thickness to hip-size and basically any body part.
The downside of this however, is that the player can no longer play as the main protagonist, Kirito. On the other hand, players will now be playing out their own story.
Another feature has character customization is not only applied to the player’s avatar but also their supporting AI human known as AvaSys. Now players can change the appearances and gender of these characters made as assists in battle and assets.
For the two new characters, their names are Zeliska and Kureha. Zeliska is described as a talented by shy girl with a soft demeanor and is being voiced by Mamiko Noto. Kureha, who is being voiced by Ayane Sakura, on the other hand is described to always willing to help people and is not only protagonist’s friend but the one who gets him into Gun Gale Online.
On another note, the magazine has revealed that original costumes are going to be applied to characters Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Silica, and Lisbeth.
