Singer Namie Amuro Announces Retirement

Japanese singer Namie Amuro recently celebrated her 25th anniversary in the industry last September 16. While this news has been received well especially to her fans, she released an announcement on Wednesday on her official website that she will be retiring from singing effective September 16, 2018. In relation to this, she has promised to give all her all in her final album as well her concert performances that are lined up. She thanks all her fans for the never-ending support through all these years.

Amuro is notable for performing the songs of Inuyasha, Nintama Rantaro, and One Piece. She also performed songs in the live-action movie Death Note Light up the NEW world. She will also be performing the upcoming One Piece special to air on October 1. She was also featured in an animated music video with virtual diva Hatsune Miku.
