Another commemoration is up for the upcoming fantasy series, “The Ancient Magus Bride” a.k.a. “Mahō Tsukai no Yome” and this time it is with a museum to be opened on September 30. On the same day, a talk show involving the cast members of the show will be held as well.
The museum which will be titled the “The Ancient Magus Bride Museum” is to be held at the “HMV Museum” found on the 6th floor of the “HMV & BOOKS TOKYO” located in Shibuya, Tokyo. Featuring in the museum will be a comic corner and anime corner. In the anime corner, it will be consisting of three parts.
The first is on theatrical event screenings to take place before the anime debut. The second is an exhibition of original illustrations and art for the series. Lastly, is presentation of the anime opening theme to be performed by JUNNA. On another note, images of Chise and Elias will also be found.
Also to be featured in the museum are a variety of limited goods will be up for grabs. Included are clear files, stationery items like ballpoint pen sets, mugs, and tote bags. For first-come-first-serve buyers, they will be able to receive novelty items.
With the talk show to be held on the same day, it will be having main cast members, Atsumi Tanezaki, the voice of Chise and Ryota Takeuchi, the voice of Elias Ainswoth making feature. An added feature for the museum is the creation of a “The Ancient Magus Bride Cafe” in commemoration of the museum’s opening. Should a fan make an order at the cafe, they will be receiving an original coaster.
The museum will be open until October 22, 2017 and will be having an admission fee of 500 yen for regular participants and a free admission for preschool children. As for the commemoration cafe, it will be open until 22nd of October.
“The Ancient Magus Bride” is a fantasy shounen series written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki. The story of the series tells of a young girl named Chise who has suffered much in her life and in that journey finds herself sold to the mysterious magician Elias. But rather than becoming his slave, she finds herself entering into a new life as his apprentice and future wife instead.
