A PV is Released for "Osake wa Fufu ni Natte kara" and Reveals More Details

An official PV (promotional video) is released for the upcoming slice-of-life comedy series “Osake wa Fufu ni Natte kara” a.k.a. “Drinking is allowed after Marrying.” With a span of 30 seconds, the video reveals new cast members and the theme song for the series.

Cast to play as the female protagonist Chisato Mizusawa is Eri Kitamura, the voice of Izumo Kamiki in the supernatural series, “Blue Exorcist.” Then playing the role of her husband, Sora Mizusawa is Mitsuhiro Ichiki, who played as Sadatoki Sugimoto in “Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation.” In a previous report, it was announced that Ayaka Asai would be taking on the role of Yui Shiraishi while Arisa Nakata would be voicing Koharu Sakurai.

The series will be making its debut on October 3 and be broadcasted on Tokyo MX at 25:00 then on Sunday TV at 26:00. There will also be a simultaneous stream to be found on “GYAO!.”

Hisayoshi Hirasawa is the general director of the series and working alongside him as the director is Saori Tachibana. Working as the character designer of the series is Yuzuko Hanai, who previously worked as the episode animation director of “Little Witch Academia.”

As for the theme song of the series, it is entitled, “Don’t Let Me Down” and will be performed by the four-member rock band Cellchrome. This will be the second anime theme song that that the band has released, the first being “Stand Up Now” for the slice-of-life series, “Konbini Kareshi” a.k.a. “Convenience Store Boyfriend.” Coming soon, details on the release of a CD single with the theme song will be revealed.

The “Osake wa Fufu no Natte kara” manga series is a currently running slice-of-life work that was first released on April 3, 2015. Created by Crystal na Yousuke and serialized by Yawaraka spirits, this is one of the few series that completely takes on the theme of alcohol.

The story of the series tells of the pretty and excellent assistant manager, Chisato Mizusawa. Though great at her job she is highly reserved and comes off as an aloof figure. But the moment she heads home a completely different side that only her husband knows is revealed, for when she becomes drunk, she becomes highly cute!
