CoroCoro is a manga magazine popular for releasing series such as the Pokemon manga series, Doraemon, Splatoon, Future Card Buddyfight, and Snack World to name a few.
With its target market centered on kids, it’s impossible that you’ll be able to encounter any grown up discussions or references like politics. In its August issue however, the publication featured someone whom we pretty much know pretty well—none other than the current President of the United States of America, Donald Trump!
A manga drawing of Trump was found in one page of the latest chapter of Yo! Daitōryō Torappu-kun created by Kohe. He is shown on his back and playing with 20 Fidget Spinners placing them on top of the other with his head, tongue, hands, feet, and his own crotch. The body parts are captioned including one that says “ChiXko Spinner” (PeXis Spinner).
Below the page contains some tongue-in-cheek rap lyrics and here is the translation:
Many are spinning, the Hand Spinners
Tonight is steak and sushi
For a mid-afternoon snack I love red bean dorayaki
The character located that the bottom corner exclaims with a surprise look, “It’s ridiculous to have [that many!]”
If you’re wondering, yes this manga is legit in Japan. Just to give you a background i>Yo! Daitōryō Torappu-kun is parody manga series starring Trump as a very rich elementary school transfer student. Aside from him being so wealthy, he knows how to rap.
The manga was first released in May and it has inspired the production of one-minute web anime episodes. You can watch the first episode of this series below:
The creator has also drawn Trump being barbecued.
