The Cute ‘Mitchiri Neko’ is Getting its Own Anime and New Manga

You have probably come across that cute video of cute colorful cats march to a very cute tune called as the “MitchiriNeko March”. If you can’t get enough of these cute multi-colored felines, it was revealed on Friday in the October issue of Nakayoshi magazine that an anime project for this franchise is greenlit along with a new manga series which are created by G-angel and Frenchel.

“Mitchiri Neko” is centered on cute colored cats that multiply when they are left alone. “Mitchiri” in Japanese means packed or sticking together. The cats also have the cute ability to mimic human personalities and behavior as well as being able to talk to. Each cat has its own distinct personality.

The merchandise was created in the 2012 when a four-panel manga was released digitally on Famitsu.com then later on the Famitsu app. This manga inspired the creation of the smartphone game Mitchiri Neko Mix which was released in 2014.
