A Screening Event, NicoNico Live Broadcast and Talkshow on August 26 for Boku no Hero Academia

The action and drama of “Boku no Hero Academia’s” a.k.a “My Hero Academia’s” V.S. Hero Killer arc is brought to screens once more with a special screening event on August 26 along with a live broadcast by NicoNico. Also included in the broadcast is a talk show with the cast involved.

The screening event is to be held at the TOHO CINEMAS Shinjuku and will be shown alongside the live broadcast at 15 o’clock. The talk show on the other hand will be starting at 17 o’clock.

As stated the screening and live broadcast will be featuring the V.S. Hero Killer Arc episodes 26, “Time to Pick Some Names” until episode 31, “The Aftermath of "Hero Killer: Stain.” For the talk show, cast members Kaito Ishikawa, who plays as Tenya Iida, and Yuki Kaji, the voice of Shouto Todoroki are making their appearance.

The “V.S. Hero Killer” arc, which is otherwise known as the “Field Training” arc of the “U.A Beginnings Saga” and is the sixth story arc of the series.

Here, protagonist Izuku and classmates are entering into their training under the supervision of pro heroes. But while the class is out and gaining experience at their respective pro hero’s workplace, trouble in the shadows begin to arise. Activities of a mysterious villain is gaining more attention in Hosu and for three heroes, this will be their first formidable enemy.

The “Boku no Hero Academia” a.k.a. “My Hero Academia” series is a superhero manga written and illustrated Kohei Horikoshi. Currently ongoing with 14 volumes is total and was first serialized by Weekly Shounen Jump in July 2014. On February 9, 2015, the series gained a license for an English-language release by Viz Media.

The anime adaptation of the series came about on April 3, 2016 and is currently is currently running on its second season.

The story tells of one Izuku Midoriya, who aspires nothing more than to be a hero like his hero All Might. But being born in a world where 80% are born with superpowers known as “quirks”, 20% are regular humans and he is part of the latter, that dream seems just about impossible.

But upon saving his friend from a slime villain, he captures the attention of none other than his idol. With his help he not only is given his idol’s quirk but with hard work and training he gains a chance at entering into his dream school, U.A. High School.
