A Screening Scheduled for Netojū no Susume

Weeks ago, a new shoujo comedy anime adaptation was revealed and it is titled, “Netojuu no Susume.” With only a month to go before the official release of the adaptation a preliminary screening event has been announced for the series featuring an appearance of two cast members.

The screening event will be taking place on September 16 and the location will only be revealed to the ones who wins the chance to attend. In order to win, a participant is to follow the official Twitter account of the series and tweet their favorite character using the hashtag, “#Netojuu no Susume Press Characters.” The winner of this little competition will then receive a DM (direct message) revealing the screening venue.

The viewer contest will be running from August 22 at 23 o’clock until August 29 and will acting as the first ranking for characters. There will only be a limited amount of spots so interested parties will need to be quick to be considered.

Making their appearance at the event are cast members Ryouta Suzuki, who plays the role the avatar Hayashi and Reina Ueda, the voice behind avatar Lily. Another feature for the preliminary screening is that it will be presenting not just the first episode of the series but the second episode as well.
“Netojuu no Susume” a.k.a. “Recommendation of the Wonderful Virtual Life” is a manga series created by Rin Kokuyō and released in October 2013 with 2 works published in Comico by Kokuyou.

The tale of the series tells of a single 30-year-old woman named Moriko Morio. After having quit her job and wanting to find an escape from the “crappy society” and “3D Life” she enters into the world of online gaming and takes on the image of a handsome male swordsman. With new image Moriko finds a new path opened up for her.

As for the cast, they are broken into two types, the real world characters and the net world characters. For the real world characters they consist of:

Tomoaki Maeno as Howare Koiwai.
Takuma Terashima as Kazuomi Fujimoto

For the net world cast, they include:

Ryouta Suzuki as Hayashi
Reina Ueda as Lily
Yuuichi Nakamura as Kanbe
Yuka Aisaka as Lilac
Takanori Yagi as Himeralda
Kazuhiro Sunseki as Pokotaro

The series will be having a total of 10 episodes and will officially premier on October 9 at 25:40 (effectively October 10 at 1:40 a.m.).
