This is so far the highest grossing Pokemon movie beating the gross sales of the previous titles like Pokemon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. It first premiered in the Japan Expo convention in France last July 6, 2017 in original Japanese dub with French subtitles then its official premiere in Japan was on July 15, 2017.
