“Kino no Tabi – the Beautiful World- the Animated Series’” official website releases its first promotional video for streaming and features characters Kino and her talking motorrad on the road.
Also featured in the video is the anime’s main theme music composed by Yoshiaki Dewa, known to have worked on the anime “A Lull in the Sea” and “Flying Witch
Based on Keiichi Sigsawa’s “Kino’s Journey – The Beautiful World” light novels, the anime will be premiering in October and will be broadcasted by AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11 with Crunchyroll taking charge of the series’ stream.
The story of the series follows the adventures of Kino and her talking motorcycle named Hermes. Throughout their journey they explored different locations and learn of the people and their cultures there. However, the two only stay three days in the location before moving on with their journey.

For the cast, playing as protagonist Kino is Aoi Yuuki, who is currently playing as Yoshiko Hanabatake in the comedy series “Aho Girl.” Voicing her companion Hermes is Souma Saitou, the voice of Tadashi Yamaguchi in volleyball series, “Haikyuu!” Taking on the role of Shizu is Yuichiro Yumehara, the voice actor of Kuroo Hazama a.k.a. Black Jack in “Young Black Jack.”
Recognized for his recent role as Vainney Halter in “Clockwork Planet”, Kenichirou Matsuda is voicing Riku. Taking on the role of Ti is Ayane Sakura, who played a role in “Your Lie in April” as Tsubaki Sawabe. Playing as Shishou a.k.a Master is the voice of Ena Komiya in “Just Because!”, Lynn. Lastly, Kazuyuki Okitsu, who plays as Frank in “Little Witch Academia” is voicing Aibou a.k.a. Partner.
On another note, the site has also released a second video streaming featuring characters Kino, Hermes, Shizu, and Ti heading to the “Land of Comiket” (a parody of the real-life Comiket). Titled “Comike no Kuni” Welcome to the Summer Wars!", the video is a 12-minute drama written by Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrated by Kouhaku Kuroboshi.
Speaking of Comiket, which is otherwise known as the Comic Market, the 92nd Comiket will be taking place starring on Friday up to Sunday.
