A Sneak Peek into Animation Release for Mitsuboshi Colors TV Anime

A sneak peek into the art and animation of the upcoming anime series “Mitsuboshi Colors” is out as the official website for the series releases a teaser video stream open to those who reside in the United States, Mexico, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Along with the teaser video, the site has also released a teaser illustration as well.

It was just four months ago that the anime adaptation for the series was first revealed. Now with a confirmed cast, staff the anime is set to be released in January next year.

Taking the role of director for the series is Tomoyuki Kawamura, who directed the action fantasy series, “Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon.” Shogo Yasukawa, recognized as the series composer of the cooking anime “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma” is working the same role for the series. Acting as the character designer of the series is Takumi Yokota, who worked on “Pupipou” series.

The story of the series tells of “justice organization” called “Colors” located in a certain park of a certain Ueno area of Tokyo. With the goal of protecting the peace of the park, the three elementary girls of the group roam the park from morning to evening and lead “Colors” for the sake of the park.

From left to right, starring in the series is Natsume Hioka, the voice behind Machi Amayadori in the comedy series “Kuma Miko”, as Kotoha. Yuuki Takada, who is currently playing as Aoba Suzukaze in “New Game!” is voicing the character Yui. Lastly, playing as Sacchan is Marika Kouno, who plays as Yua Nakajima in “Hinako Note.”

Prior to the anime’s release, it has been confirmed that the series will be having a “support program” starring the listed cast members. Titled “Tensai! Colors Terebi” a.k.a. “Genius! Colors TV”, the program will be premiering on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. on AT-X with a special broadcast at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Other channels to broadcast the series include Nico Nico Video, AbemaTV, and d Anime Store (Docomo Anime Store).Already a second episode is confirmed to be released on August 10 with a special screening on August 13.
