Here’s a synopsis of the Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rogue film as describe by Viz Media:
A tale of friendship, betrayal and vengeance based on the hit Shonen Jump series!
Once there was a small tribe of people called Kurta lived in a lush and beautiful forest. One day, a group of bandits known as the Phantom Brigade attacked and killed the entire population but one. Their quest was to obtain the eyes of the Kurta people; eyes that turn a brilliant red when excited. Known as the Eyes of Rouge, this color is considered one of the seven most exquisite hues in the world. The sole survivor is none other than a boy named Kurapika. To avenge his people, he has become a Hunter.
It’s about time to mark your calendars in Spring 2018 for this is a anime film that you shouldn’t miss!
