Spinoff Turns to Episode 9 for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan

More is to come for the shounen series, “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures” as a new installment of the “Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai” a.k.a. “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” manga by Hirohiko Araki is announced by the August issue of Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine on Thursday. Set to be released in the magazine’s next issue in August the ninth installment in the one-shot manga series is titled “DNA.”

Stemmed off from the manga, “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable” the fourth arc of the “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” series; “Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai” is a series of one-shots created by Hirohiko Araki, the original creator of the “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures” franchise as well as the sci-fiction series “Baoh Raihousha.”

Originally the series was first released in 1997 then in November 2013,a volume compiling the first four chapters, along with Rohan Kishibe Goes to Gucci, was released. Most recently in December 2015, Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine published a one-shot titled , “Episode #07 Getsuyōbi – Tenkiame” a.k.a “Monday – Sun Shower” was released.

“Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai” tells the tale of Rohan Kishibe, Akari’s own alter ego for the series. Starting off as an antagonist of the “Diamond” series, Rohan is described as a
successful professional mangaka who is often roped into paranormal events while conducting research for his latest manga.

On another note, it has also been confirmed that an anime DVD adaptation is being made from the manga and will be available to all customers who purchase all 13 DVD or Blu-ray Disc volumes of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable anime with the last 13th volume being released on June 28.

The cast for this OAD include Takahiro Sakurai, the voice of Arataka Reigen in “Mob Psycho 100” playing as Rohan Kishibe. Mai Nakahara, the voice behind Juvia Loxar in “Fairy Tail” is playing as Kyouka Izumi and Kaori Muzuhashi, who voiced Minami Shimada in “Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts” will be playing as Ikyuu.

“Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures: Diamond is Unbreakable” is the fourth season of the “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures” franchise and currently has an anime adaptation with 39 episodes having been released in April 2016. The story tells of how after 11 years since the end of Stardust Crusaders,
