New Cast and a Debut Date is Out for the New Series "Princess Principle"

First came the announcement, then the revelation of staff and cast, now even more cast and a date of release has been revealed on the official website of the new upcoming action series “Princess Principle” as of Friday with a promotional video.

The series tells of a story set in 19th century London, in a city located within what is called the Albion, the east and west are divided by a large wall. The stars of this tale are five female students of the prestigious Queen’s Mayfair school. Yet the truth is that they are spies and with their individual abilities they undergo through the different challenges of remaining within the underground world of disguise, espionage, infiltration, and car chases.

The anime will be making its debut on July 9, 11 and 14 depending on the stations that it will be aired at. July 9 will be for the networks of Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV, BS11 will be taking the July 11 airing and as for July 14, it will be on AT-X.

Music: Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero) is composing the music.

Ending Theme Performer: Ayaka Imamura, Akira Sekine, Yō Taichi, Akari Kageyama, and Nozomi Furuki
The previously revealed cast were:
Ayaka Imamura as Angie
Akira Sekine as Princess
Yō Taichi as Dorothy
Akari Kageyama as Beatrice
Nozomi Furuki as Chise

There are two females and three males that have been revealed for the additional cast and are the following:

L, the calm man of few words is being played by Takayuki Sugo, the voice behind Wanyuudou, the flaming wheel spirit of the horror series, “Hell Girl.” His character is noted to be the leader of the Commonwealth spy ring known as Control, a group recognized to have infiltrated a Kingdom territory. L is also noted to be the one who gives orders to Angie and her group.

Miyuki Sawashiro, who plays as Tsugiko Zenigata in “Tantei Opera Milky Holmes” is playing as the information and data analyst and interpreter 7. While dealing with unexpected occurrences in her daily life, she also deals having to separate work and emotions

The voice behind Dera Mochimazzui in “Tamako Market”, Takumi Yamazaki is taking the role of The Colonel. He is a military officer whom was sent to oversee The Control and is described as a man with great admiration for the strength of the military but a distaste to the spy’s subversive methods.

Recognized for his role as Shingo Komori in the rugby anime “All Out!”, Takaya Hashi is playing as Duke Normandy for the series. Anointed by the minister of the interior, Duke Normandy holds power not only in the circles of law enforcement but is recognized as one of the select few that is able to express his honest opinion on matters to the queen.

Playing as Gazelle, Duke Normandy’s secretary is Yuko Iida, the voice of Shimi-chan in “Shin ATASHIn’CHI.” Her character is described as a woman of beauty and ruthless loyalty while also holding her own agenda.

In other news, it has been reported that a smartphone game of the series titled, “Princess Principal Game of Mission” is currently under development.
