The vintage series that is “Bonobono” is making its appearance on June 13 at the Omotesando branch of the Tower Records Café with a collaboration.
Bonobono is a comic-strip comedy manga series created by Mikio Igarashi, but while it falls under the category of a four panel comic strip, many of its chapters contain eight panels. From March 1986 to 1987 the series was serialized in Takeshobo manga magazine Tensai Club before it went to Manga Life around April 1987.
There are currently two series to the manga, one with 42 volumes and the other with 2 volumes. It was in 1993 that a film was created on the series. Then on April 20, 1995, an anime series was created and ran for a total of 48 episodes until it ended on March 28, 1996.
Following the series came nine TV specials which aired during 1997 to 1998 and were interconnected with one another as one special introduced the next special during the beginning.
Another film for the franchise was then created in 2002 then another TV series in April 2016. To those who may be interested, here are the titles of the specials:

The collaboration, which will be termed as the “Moronoba no Mori Café” will be featuring original menus and photo spots that participants can enjoy. The theme will be taking on the forest in which Bonobono and his companions lived in.
There will also be a variety of events for visitors to enjoy including one that involves an iron fly of sorts to be scheduled. Other than this little details have been shared on what will occur at the collaboration event.
The event will be running from June 13 to July 2 and will be starting at 11:00 to 22:00.
