Get ready to Fight Evil by Moonlight and Win Love by Daylight—the official cast of the upcoming Sailor Moon musical titled Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon – Le Mouvement Final was revealed on Wednesday. In this musical, fans will be able to see the Starlights group as well as Princess Kaku, Sailor Galaxia, Sailor Iron Mouse, and many others. The Sailor Senshi cast will be reprising their respective roles (except the role of Sailor Saturn for she is now played by Mirai) and the production will be based from the last arc of the Sailor Moon manga (Sailor Moon – Sailor Stars anime).
Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon – Le Mouvement Final is considered as the “final chapter” of the whole Sailor Moon musical franchise. The musical will only have a limited run from September 8 to 18 at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo. For those who want to see the show in the Aichi Prefecture, its run will happen at the Ai Plaza Toyohashi for only two days (September 23-24). This will be followed by a run in Osaka from September 29 to October 1 at the Umeda Arts Theater’s Theater Drama City.
The Starlights will be played by the following people: Sakii Matsuda as Sailor Star Healer, Riona Tatemichi as Sailor Star Maker, and Meiku Harukawa will play Sailor Star Fighter. The inner senshi cast from last year’s musical titled Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon -Amour Eternal will be reprising the roles such as Yume Takeuchi as Sailor Mercury/Ami Mizuno, Karen Kobayashi as Sailor Mars/Rei Hino, Kaede as Sailor Jupiter/Makoto Kino, Rimo Hasegawa sa Sailor Venus/Minako Aino, and Hotaru Namoto as the series’ main protagonist Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino.
Other supporting characters as well as majority of the Outer Senshi will be reprising their respective roles as well. Mikako Ishii as Sailor Pluto/Setsuna, Sayaka Fujioka as Sailor Neptune/Michiru Kaioh, Syu Shiotsuki as Sailor Uranus/Haruka Teno, Yuga Yamato as Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask, and Airi Kanda as Sailor Chibi Moon/Chibi-Usa. The role of Sailor Saturn/Hotaru Tomoe will be played by Mirai replacing Karin Takahashi.
Aside from the old cast, the new musical will also feature a new cast like Miyu Hashigaki as Sailor Tin Nyanko, Shion Aoki as Sailor Iron Mouse, Koko Isuzu as Sailor Galaxia, Yuka Kobayashi as Sailor Aluminum Siren, and Iriya Yuto as Sailor Lead Crow. Not hyped enough? Sailor Cosmos will be played by Satomi Okubo (former Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino actress in the Sailor Moon musicals from 2013-2015) as well as Yoshimi Hidano, Yukai Shiihara, Ayano Nagasawa, and Ayumi and Sagisaka will play Shadow Galactica. A double cast of the cute senshi Chibi Chibi will be played by Chise Niitsu and Hinari Yamaguchi.
