The upcoming supernatural series titled “Yōkai Apāto no Yūga na Nichijo” a.k.a. “Refined Daily Life at the Supernatural Entity Apartment” has revealed on its official website on Friday, the two main cast to star the adaptation

The light novel which the series is based upon is a creation of Hinowa Kouzuki and was published in 2003. It ran for a total of 10 volumes before it ended in 2009 but later in 2013 a series of side stories was made. Overall this is a tale that takes a look in to the beings of the supernatural kind.

The protagonist of this tale is Yuushi Inaba, a 16-year old boy who lost both of his parents three years ago. At one point he had move into his Uncle’s home but instead decided to take up residence in a dormitory instead.

This decision ends up backfiring on him as the dormitory he had intended to move into had burned down. Taking his loses he searches for an apartment to live in and eventually finds one at low price of 25,000-yen (about US$220) in rent. What he doesn’t know however is that there is a reason for such a cheap deal and Yuushi finds this out too late.

The real deal about the apartment is that it is in the residence to a variety of supernatural beings. Ghosts, youkai, mononoke, you name it, they were there; this is a tale of Yuushi’s daily life as he goes through the different eccentricities of living with many different supernatural beings.

Playing as the the unlucky protagonist (the brunette of the image) is Atsushi Abe, the voice behind Inojin Yamanaka in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” and Touchirou Izumida in “Yowamushi Pedal.”

With him and playing as Yuushi’s friend Mizuki Hase is Yuuichi Nakamura, the voice of Karamatsu in the “Osomatsu-san Ouma de Kobanashi” special and Tsukiyima Ringo in the “Uta no Prince-sama” series. For those who may not know, the duo are in fact reprising their roles as the main duo of the series, having played as them in the drama CD of the franchise.

Currently there is no concrete details in regards to the staff who will be working on the production nor on the other cast members that will be working with the main duo.
