Just in case you missed it (because of the many chapters and episodes this franchise alone has), the Bleach manga ended on August 22 last year with the last chapter giving mixed opinions from the fans. Its anime adaptation finished airing in 2012 with a different conclusion.
Although the franchise’s anime and manga series seemed to have ended already, it still continues to dominate in other forms like stage plays, video games, and so on.
In the fused 21st and 22nd issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that was released last Monday, it was announced that a novel based on Tite Kubo’s best-selling manga series will be having a new novel to be released digitally starting on April 28. The novel is available for purchase and reading at both the Shounen Jump+ app and the official Bleach app with new chapters to be released every week. If you can’t get enough of the series, then this novel would satisfy your cravings for more of Tite Kubo’s creative works.
The novel is titled Bleach: Can’t Fear Your Own World written by Ryohgo Narita. Narita is also known for writing the light novel of Baccano! and writing the story for Durarara!!. For those curious of what the novel would be about, the story will be focused on Shuhei Hisagi as he engages himself into a new fight with the resurfacing of the mysteries left by Kaname Tosen. Those who are interested in reading the chapters should get the mentioned apps before the release.
This is not the only novel that was released under the Bleach franchise. The novel titled Bleach: WE DO knot ALWAYS YOU by Makoto Matsubara was released on December 27. To give you a little synopsis, the novel is about the wedding of Renji and Rukia’s wedding ceremony in Soul Society. Matsubara also wrote a Bleach novel in 2012 titled Bleach: The Death Save The Strawberry. According to the Weekly Shonen Jump, the novels that are written by Narita and Matsubara are part of Bleach’s “last novelization” project.
Bleach started out as a manga series created by Tite Kubo in 2001 and is one of the highly anticipated manga series published in the Weekly Shonen Jump. The series finally ended in August 22 and the manga is now being published digitally in the English language by Viz Media. Viz Media has also been releasing the official English translation of the manga series in print.
