Coming this April 29, there will be an anime takeover by the sci-fi series known as “Clockwork Planet.” Just released this month, the anime tellls the story of Naoto Miura, a high school drop out who suddenly finds a black box crashed into their home. What Naomi does find is a whirlwind of adventure as they discover a female automaton was in the box.
For the takeover, it will be taking place at the nerve center of all thins anime and manga, Akihabara and will be involving street screens known as AkibaVision and maid cafes. Why the street screens? Because there will be a transmission of special images and footage of the cast for any passerby or fan to see.
As for the involvement of restaurants and cafes, there will be a stamp rally, with limited-edition Clockwork Planet postcards as prizes. The postcard designs will vary on sign and will depend on the location of where the stamp rally cards were turned in.
One of the noted cafes to be involved in the event is the Cafe Mail-ish, which starting on May 1, there will be a menu based on the fantasy series to be served. Other establishments that are involved with this event is HEART of HEARTs, Pinafore, Gyusha, Akihabara v. Lond Bell, Ramen Ninja, Tokumasa Curry, Spaghetti no Pancho, and Suzuya.
